Termite Drops Perfect Circle

A termite chewed through the baseboard until a small disk of wood came loose. It rolled across the floor and stopped under the table. Behind the wall the colony stacked the shavings into a staircase no insect used. The disk stayed where it landed catching afternoon light on its edge.
